Another successful round of Psychology for all Open Seminars has ended

The Department of Psychology of CITY College, the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield, has during April and May delivered a series of intriguing seminars in the format of the Psychology for all Open Seminar Series at the main campus in Thessaloniki. The purpose of the seminar series is to open the doors of the college to the public and introduce them to current topics in psychology. It is also an opportunity for researchers and other specialists to spread their vast knowledge and expertise about their areas of interest. Entrance to the events is free but registration in advance is required. All the seminars were delivered in Greek.

The April and May round of the Psychology for all Open Seminars was a great success with more than 100 visitors at every seminar. The topic of this round of seminars was healthy and active development after the age of 50. Each seminar provided a different perspective on the subject. A total of three highly informative seminars were held, with a different speaker every time. The first seminar took place on April 30 and featured Pavlidis George, PhD candidate at the University of Sheffield, who was followed by gymnast and personal Tsochas Kyriakos on May 14. The series concluded on May 28 with speaker Tsatali Marianna, neuropsychologist and PhD candidate at the University of Sheffield.

We would like to thank all visitors and speakers for participating and contributing to the success of this round of the seminars. Also, we would like to thank the Department of Psychology for initiating the series.
