Introducing our new Students’ Union Board (CSU) 2015-16

Like every year, the 2015 electoral period at the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield, CITY College, concluded with the election of 64 class representatives and five (5) Student Union Officers, elected by the entire student body at the Faculty’s main campus in Thessaloniki.

Theodora Theodoridou, 3^rd year student at the Psychology Department is the new CSU President. Theodora together with the four other members of the board, namely, Apostolos Dermentzopoulos, Vice President, Kostis Κaragiannis, PR Officer, Vasilis Kikalos, Welfare & Educational Officer, Fotis Karagiannis, Sports & Events Officer, represent the student body voice for this year and are very enthusiastic about their new role. The new CSU has already organised a series of events and activities is setting new goals for this academic year. All students are encouraged to become active and join or even suggest new initiatives for this year.

Theodora Theodoridou, CSU President
Hello everyone, my name is Theodora Theodoridou and I am a psychology student. As the President of our Students' Union for this academic year, my goal is to ensure an improved student life and experience! It is within my responsibilities to oversee the organizing of different activities and educational initiatives, promote collaboration, as well as social awareness and personal development for all students, in coordination with the Faculty & the student bodies. I’m always available in campus, at our CSU office during: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 12:00-14:00 and through email at csupresident@citycollege.sheffield.eu.

Apostolos Dermentzopoulos, Vice President
Hey there! My name is Apostolos Dermentzopoulos and I'm studying in MSc in Management with expertize in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. As the Vice President of the CSU, my major goal is to connect postgraduates with undergraduates this year, in order to, all of us, enjoy the same student experience. Kostis Κaragiannis, PR Pfficer
Hi, my name is Kostis Κaragiannis and I am a student here, in CITY college's Business Department! I'm a 2nd level student and the Student Union's Public Relations Officer. It is my job to organize events, promote our activities and strengthen further the ties between our Faculty and Sheffield. Vasilis Kikalos, Welfare and Educational Officer
Hey there, I’m Vasilis, currently studying Computer Science, and I’m your Welfare and Educational Officer on the Students’ Union for 2015/16. I deal with both academic and non-academic issues and I’m here to ensure that every student receives the best possible education experience, and a great academic life in total. No problem is too small, so please feel free to contact me for ideas, issues or concerns. Fotis Karagiannis, Sports Officer
