Congratulations Dr Solomon!

The International Faculty is pleased to congratulate Adrian Solomon, on successfully defending and receiving his PhD on ‘A quintuple helix framework for the implementation of resilient and green freight transportation during weather induced disruptions in South Eastern Europe”.

Adrian completed his PhD under the continuous support and guidance of his supervisors, Prof. Panayiotis H. Ketikidis and Prof. Siau Ching Lenny Koh. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Sheffield.

His main interests are in the area of environmentally sustainable and resilient supply chains, while he acquires, manages and implements funded projects and delivers lectures on supply chain management both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. To date he has contributed to a number of academic publications.

"I believe that this experience was truly unique from all the perspectives that a PhD candidate will have to encounter. The plethora of world-class and cutting-edge opportunities, knowledge, skills, hard work and close guidance that SEERC and the University of Sheffield has exposed me to have made all my achievements possible and have opened doors to a promising life-long pathway throughout which my gratitude will never cease. The constant and instant support for the last three years from my supervisors has made my PhD and our common projects a true success at all levels. All the mentoring, knowledge, intellectual resources, practical skills and international opportunities provided by the institution have substantially boosted my profile with key skills and expertise and I hope that this cooperation will become even more productive over the following years.” Adrian said.
