In his informative presentation, Mr Tsoulis shared his expertise from the job marketplace and outlined a set of transferable skills that make candidates sought after by corporate recruiters. During his speech he stressed out: “Employers are often looking for skills that go beyond qualifications and experience. While candidates’ education and experience may make them eligible to apply for a job, to be successful in the role they will need to exhibit a mix of skills, the so-called ‘employability skills’. In times of high unemployment, employers have more choice of applicants and will prefer those with well-rounded employability skills.”
