Upcoming speech by Dr Szamosi at the 5th International Human Resources Conference in Skopje

Dr Leslie Szamosi, Senior Lecturer and Academic Director of our Executive MBA programme, participated as guest speaker in the 5th International Human Resources Conference which took place in Skopje, 18^th October 2013, at M6 Educational Centre.

The event, themed “HR Significance and ROI in HR”, as well as the HR EXPO taking place in parallel, were hosted by the Macedonian Human Resources Association while the Managers Academy of the International Faculty, based in Skopje, acted as bronze sponsor.

One of the main aims of the conference was to present how the concept of ROI (Return on Investment) is used and to display the value of the HR function, HR strategy and HR programmes that result in credible information important for top management and business leaders. In this context Dr Szamosi delivered an insightful speech on "Supporting Talent during Times of Change". In his presentation Dr Szamosi discussed the hot issue faced currently by companies and organisations where employees leave their jobs in their own free will, move to other countries seeking better job opportunities or even to competitors, while at the same time businesses struggle to survive and remain competitive. Dr Szamosi’s presentation was well-attended by HR professionals who discussed with him the contemporary challenges in the HR field.
