Author of “Blindsight: The (Mostly) Hidden Ways Marketing Reshapes our Brains”.

Matt Johnson, PhD is a speaker, researcher, and writer focused on the application of psychology and neuroscience to marketing. Following his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Princeton University, his research has focused on understanding the neuroscience that underlies consumer experience, brand loyalty, and decision making. A contributor to major news outlets including Psychology Today, Forbes, BBC, and Business Insider, he regularly provides expert opinion and thought leadership on a range of topics related to the human side of business. As the founder of the neuromarketing firm PopNeuro, he consults with a wide array of brands, including as an expert-in-residence for Nike. He is the author of the best-selling consumer behavior book Blindsight: The (mostly) Hidden ways Marketing Reshapes our Brains BenBella Press, 2020), and Branding that Means Business (Economist Books, Fall 2022), which applies a social neuroscience lens to brand strategy.

Dr. Nikolaos Dimitriadis is an award-winning communications professional, book author, educator and consultant. He spoke at TEDx for the urgent need for Brain-Based Communication and he contributed to the NeuroMarketing Manager Program at Hamburg Media School. Dr. Dimitriadis has scanned more than 7,000 brains from 25 countries globally for Neuromarketing, NeuroHR and academic purposes. He has worked with international brands such as IKEA, IBM, JTI, Nestle, Johnson&Johnson, AstraZeneca, CISCO, SAP, Pierre Fabre, Coca Cola, T-Mobile, Dixons, Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, Societe Generale, Unicredit, Microsoft, VMware, Raiffeisen Bank, SAP, DELL, USAID and others. He is the Head of Neuro Consulting Services at Optimal HR Group, Athens (Greece), offering cutting-edge Neuromarketing and NeuroHR research and consulting. He has received his PhD and MBA from The University of Sheffield (UK), and he is a certified Neuromarketer. He teaches regularly in various MBAs and other university and corporate programs around the world. Dr. Dimitriadis is the Chairman of the People Committee at the World Innovation and Change Management Institute in Geneva, Switzerland. He is a Professor of Practice at The University of York Europe Campus, Greece, where he leads the MSc in Neuromarketing. He is the co-founder of Neurogenesis, The Applied Neuroscience Club of Greece. He is also a Visiting Professor at the School of Economics and Business of the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Haris Lalatsis is Head of Education & Research Team for Marketing Club Greece. He has been working in market research since 2008, having experience from all positions and responsibilities. For the last 3 years, he is the founder and CEO of ierax analytix, a boutique research agency with offices in Athens and Thessaloniki. Throughout his career, he has cooperated with most of Greece’s major brands both in qualitative and quantitative research projects. His experience lies mostly in the food and drinks sector, with product and package testing, focus groups and decoding consumer’s decision-making process. To promote the field of Neuromarketing, she is also the founder and responsible for the execution of the annual events the Neuromarketing World Forum and the Shopper Brain Conference. She is motivated to push the field of neuromarketing to a higher level of professionalism.

President of AINEM - Italian Association of Neuromarketing

Caterina Garofalo is President of the Italian Association of Neuromarketing (Ainem). She is CEO of SMART BRAIN the unique neuromarketing and neurosciene applied consulting company in Italy. She teaches Neuromarketing at the Salesian University Institute in Turin (IUSTO). She is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars on neuromarketing and on innovation both in Italy and internationally. She is co-author of the Manual of Neuromarketing published in Italy by Hoepli on 2021. Her work has appeared in various books and management publications. She writes for Applied Marketing Analytics and Harvard Business Review.
