Online guest lecture on diversity in the workplace by Ms Lisa Clark from the University of York

On 25 May 2023, students from our Business Administration & Economics Department had the outstanding opportunity to attend an online presentation by Ms Lisa Clark, Lecturer in Management at the University of York School for Business and Society: 'All That We Are - Unlocking the Power of Diversity and Embracing Strategies for Effective EEO and Talent Management in Today's Workplace'. In this thought-provoking and highly interactive lecture, Ms. Lisa Clark stressed that adopting diversity and inclusion is not just a moral imperative, but also a strategic advantage for organisations. In fact, there is a transformative power in valuing and embracing differences. By fostering diverse and inclusive environments, organisations can unlock immense potential. Diverse perspectives lead to improved decision-making, enhanced innovation, and increased performance. Moreover, inclusive workplaces attract top talent, foster collaboration, and build a positive brand image.
