We are proud to announce that the University of York is one of only four UK universities, alongside Imperial, Oxford and Cambridge, to both:

• have an overall rating of Gold under the 2023 Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF)
• be 10th in the Times Higher Education (THE) ranking of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021

Since its foundation in 1963, the University of York has consistently demonstrated its commitment to academic rigour, propelling it to a high ranking in the UK.
