Professor Panayiotis Ketikidis Appointed to Greece’s National Council for Research, Technology and Innovation

We are pleased to announce that Professor Panayiotis Ketikidis, Vice-President of Research & Innovation at CITY College, University of York Europe Campus, has been appointed as one of the 15 new members of the National Council for Research, Technology and Innovation (NCRTI).

The NCRTI is the supreme government advisory body responsible for shaping and implementing Greece’s national strategy for Research, Technological Development, and Innovation (RTDI).

This prestigious appointment recognises Professor Ketikidis’s longstanding engagement with organisations and initiatives that promote research, technology, innovation, and outward-looking entrepreneurship. He currently also serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Thessaloniki Innovation Zone (TIZ), further demonstrating his active leadership in strengthening Greece’s innovation ecosystem.

His three-year term on the Council reflects both his personal contribution and commitment to advancing research and innovation in Greece and beyond.
