DART-Europe E-theses Portal

The DART-Europe partners help to provide researchers with a single European Portal for the discovery of Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs), and they participate in advocacy to influence future European e-theses developments.

Networked Digital Library of Theses & Dissertations

NDLTD is an international organization that, promotes the adoption, creation, use, dissemination and preservation of electronic theses and dissertations. The NDLTD supports the development of electronic publishing and digital libraries (including repositories).

WorldCat Dissertations & Theses

This database provides fast and convenient access to the dissertations and theses available in OCLC member libraries. Many of these are available electronically, at no charge, directly from the publishing institution.

Greek Institutional Repositories

Below is a list of links to Theses and Dissertations, submitted by students of Higher Education Institutions in Greece. The full text of the collections is available in electronic format through each University’s Institutional Repository system.

AUTh's Repository, Psifiothiki - Theses and Master Collection AUTh Library System collects all doctoral dissertations (in print and electronic format) and master theses (in electronic format only) awarded in Aristotle University Schools and Departments. All dissertations and theses submitted after 2003 and master after 2006 are deposited in
Hellenic PhD Theses The National Archive of PhD Theses contains the PhD theses from all Higher Education Institutions in Greece as well as PhD theses completed by Greek scholars abroad. The National Documentation Centre (EKT) is the organization responsible for the collection, development and maintenance of the National Archive of PhD Theses. The digital repository contains currently, more than 25.000 PhD Theses, available to the end-users for searching or browsing.
UOM’s Repository – Master Theses Collection The University of Macedonia (UOM) Library holds a collection of PhD theses submitted from 1991 and onwards. The full text of the collection of theses is available in electronic format through the University’s Institutional Repository system “Psepseda”.

Locating Dissertations & Theses in ABEKT Online Catalogue

CITY College dissertations are housed at the rear of the ILC and are borrowable to registered members of the Information & Learning Commons (ILC). The ILC retains copies of Bachelor, Master and PhD Dissertations and Theses in its collection. These copies are arranged on shelves by:

  • Type of degree, e.g. Bachelor, Masters, Ph.D
  • Chronologically, by Year submitted
  • Alphabetically, by Author’s name

Dissertations & Theses can be accessed by searching ABEKT Online Catalogue.
