How to apply

Selecting candidates for admission is a very critical decision for the Executive MBA programme (EMBA). We believe that there is more to selecting a candidate than just considering scores, GPAs and other merely numerical performance indicators. For this reason admission decisions for the EMBA take into account three primary areas of evaluation:

1. Professional Experience
2. Academic Background
3. Applicant's Overall Profile

In this page you will find useful information and instructions about the application process for the Executive MBA programme. Please spend some time reading this information before you proceed with your application.

Before you apply

Make sure you have all your supporting documents scanned and ready for submission. Your application is considered complete when all of the following items have been submitted. Check the documentation* needed to support your application below:

The Application Form must be accompanied by the following documents:

• Certified photocopy of your degree
• Photocopy of your English language qualification (if any)
• One (1) Reference Letter
• Curriculum Vitae
• Four (4) Photographs (passport-size)

NOTE: A small number of applicants may be accepted based on substantial management and professional experience, without a first degree.

* Please note that all academic qualifications should be legally certified and not simple photocopies.

Tuition fees

Applying

Application forms can be lodged from October up until July every year for the October intake. As CITY College accepts specific numbers of students per programme, late applicants may fail to find a place of study in the programme of their interest. Therefore, interested candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

Important note: You may be required to send the original copies (application form, supporting documents) of the submitted documents by post.

Payments

For the deposit of any fees (registration fee, tuition fees), you may use bank account payments or alternatively use the On-line Payment System.

After you apply

Applications are first considered by the Academic Committee. If your application is successful you will be notified of your acceptance to the programme in a formal letter. You will additionally receive a full information pack giving you details about your studies including guidelines about what you will need to do next.

Keep in mind that CITY College strictly limits the number of places in each programme. Applications are considered in priority order, according to the date of their submission. After the completion of the prescribed quota of places, no application is accepted.

Tracking your application

The Academic Committee will try to make a decision as quickly as possible. The process usually takes up to two weeks. Remember, if you send supporting documents separately this can delay the decision.
