Sports @ CITY: Adopt a healthy lifestyle

‘Healthy body, healthy mind!’

We strongly believe in this saying and we recognize the power of physical activity and sport in enabling health and wellbeing. To support students and make sports part of everyday student life, CITY College has included various sports, fitness, and wellness activities to the extra-curriculum pursuits, giving all students the equal opportunity to adopt a healthy lifestyle while studying. Each year we offer a range of athletic activities to all our students and we encourage them to make use of the sports and fitness facilities available to them.

Students may join for free the gym and fitness activities at the Alterlife WH7 fitness centre in the centre of Thessaloniki and the sports facilities of YMCA in the heart of Thessaloniki. For more detailed information, see below.

CityTalks

CityTalks (Ideas worth spreading) offers a wonderful opportunity to those who want to express themselves, share their ideas and practise public speaking. Join us through inspiring speeches by the very students of CITY College.
Public speaking is an essential skill for all students; not only do you utilise public speaking through giving presentations at the front of the class, but also in all aspects of your student life as you interact with different kinds of people each day.
Students will be able to participate in public speaking activities in a safe space, which would provide encouragement and growth to help them find their own voice. Students can also benefit from meeting people from all courses, as public speaking is an essential skill for all.
