Scholarship / Financial Aid Criteria
Applicants for scholarships must a) apply for the academic programme of their choice and, b) submit their scholarship application in parallel. Both applications should be submitted within the specified timeframe, along with all required supporting documents.
The Scholarships/Financial Aid Tuition Fee applies automatically to all candidates that meet at least one of the criteria below.
Merit-Based Scholarships
Awarded to students who demonstrate one of the below:

exceptional academic,
-
athletic,
-
extracurricular achievements.
Eligible candidates should:

Hold a High School Leaving Certificate/High School Diploma with a grade of 18.1+ or equivalent
or

Demonstrate proven exceptional athletic or extracurricular achievement
High level athletes may also be eligible for a scholarship based on their achievements (each case is examined individually). Proven expertise in a particular sport, showcased through participation in recognized competitions or championships.

Demonstrated expertise in a specific extracurricular achievement, evidenced by participation in recognized competitions, clubs/societies, events, activities, etc.
Need-Based Scholarships
Awarded to assist students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds or those who meet specific eligibility criteria, such as financial need or unique personal circumstances, e.g. low family income, large families, single-parent households, migrants, medical conditions, disabilities, or other extreme personal reasons.
Eligible candidates should meet one of the above criteria

A yearly family income lower than € 30.000 (Euro)

Single-parent households
-
Large family (3+ children)
-
Serious medical condition/disability

Other extreme personal reasons
Scholarship Eligibility Documents
Candidates should submit the relevant documentation proving their eligibility for the scholarship/financial aid, in accordance with the criteria that best apply to their situation.
Candidates, who may not meet any of the listed criteria, are encouraged to complete the Scholarship/Financial Aid Application Form to explore their eligibility for the scholarship and send it to admissions@york.citycollege.eu
