Tanya Livarda studied Greek Language and Literature with specialization in Medieval Modern Greek Languae and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a Master's in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Nicosia. She has completed several courses delivered by Cambridge (Delta, CELTA, Train the trainer) and by the International House (Diploma in Academic Management). She has started her teaching career in 2011 and since 2015, she has been collaborating with different examination boards abroad as a moderator, assessment specialist, and written examiner.

Tanya has been an active member and recently a board member of TESOL Macedonia Thrace Northern Greece, a member of TESOL Greece and of IATEFL, and a committee member of Leadership and Management SIG (IATEFL).

Tanya has taught in language schools in Greece and in the UK and has participated in various projects as a teacher and coordinator. Her research on Socia-Emotional Learning and Assessment in EFL Classroom has been presented in international conferences (IATEFL, Symposium on Language Education and Research) and her articles have been published in various educational magazines in Greece and in journals abroad.
