Dr. Theocharis Stylianos Spyropoulos (Haris) holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics (AUTH), a master’s degree in Business Administration & Marketing (Sheffield), a master’s degree in Networks and Complexity (AUTH), and a Ph.D. in Economics (International University of Greece), specializing in Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Start-ups. He works as a Business Development, Sales, and Marketing executive, with significant experience in Greece and abroad, with a focus on the IT sector. He has collaborated with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) as an evaluator and as a member of the EIT Food RIS Council, as well as with Greek and international organizations promoting innovation (StartSmart, GreenChallenge), serving as an evaluator and mentor for startups. He is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Economics at the International University of Greece, where he teaches Marketing and E-Business. He has been certified as an Accredited Lecturer in Business Studies by the University of Derby (United Kingdom), and participated as a Global Fellow in Residence at Virginia Tech (USA) and, through a scholarship, in a graduate-level seminar on Innovation (International Workshop on Innovation) at MIT (USA). His research interests lie in the fields of Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Entrepreneurship, with an emphasis on investigating nonlinear relationships. He has presented his work at international conferences on marketing and entrepreneurship, and his scholarly articles have been published in journals and book chapters. He also serves as a reviewer for scholarly journals.
