On 7-8 December the Library of CITY College hosted in its facilities in Thessaloniki, the 2nd year Executive MBA students, to work on their presentations for the Unit ‘Consultancy Project: Living Case Study’.
Initially, a top-level manager presented to MBA students, a Case Study of an organisation and the current management issues they face. Following the presentation, EMBA students were divided into groups, each of which first met with the company representative and Mr George Efstathiadis for a debriefing session before they start their coursework.
EMBA students had to work in the Library, the whole weekend to ‘solve’ the Case and submit their final report and PowerPoint Presentation that they had to give to the company.
The students worked in groups using the reading and working areas of the ILC, including the Project Room, the Group Study Room, the Silent Study Room, and the Silent PC Room while finding information on the library’s electronic resources and our print and online book collections.
At the end of the project working the MBA students thanked the library staff for offering the facilities and resources to accommodate their needs this weekend.
The library is looking forward to next year’s MBA students, and share the experience of the Living Case Study.
