CITY College representatives at the closing event of IOM's HARP Skills Development project

Representatives from CITY College, University of York Europe Campus participated in IOM's HARP Skills Development project closing event where IOM’s team shared valuable knowledge, best practices, and insights gained throughout their impactful journey. CITY College representatives also had the opportunity to showcase the collaborative projects developed at CITY College Europe Campus, involving our dedicated volunteers, students, and staff.

Ms. Ioanna Kapnopoulou, Head of Public Engagement and Corporate Services, presented three inspiring initiatives: "A journey into the lives of Yazidis in Greece" photo exhibition, the ongoing "Summer School Cultural Exchange Collaboration Project," and the www.integration4all.gr platform.

Dr. Dimitris Dranidis, Head of the Computer Science Department, offered more detailed information about the online platform developed by Computer Science students, a collaborative effort between IOM and our Computer Science department, designed to facilitate the successful integration of recognised refugees and asylum seekers into the Greek labor market and society.

Dr Alexandra Prodromidou, Assistant Professor of the Business Administration and Economics Department and Dr Kelly Pasmatzi, Assistant Professor and Director of Research of the Humanities Department are co-organisers of the Summer School on Migration.
