The visit was organised together with Dr Ekaterini Klepousniotou, Associate Professor and Director of the Postgraduate Programmes in Neuropsychology. The Hospice provides palliative care to patients with dementia in the final stages of the disease, offering students a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the realities of dementia care and patient support.

During the visit, students observed and participated in the daily activities of the Hospice, engaged in volunteering activities with patients, and discussed important aspects of dementia care with Dr Magda Tsolaki, founder and president of Alzheimer Hellas.

The experience offered students meaningful exposure to the clinical, emotional, and human dimensions of neuropsychological care, complementing their academic studies with experiential learning in a real-world healthcare setting.

We would like to warmly thank Dr Tsolaki and everyone at the Hospice “Panagia Glykofilousa” for their hospitality, generosity with their time, and the invaluable experience they offered to our students.
