New Book by Dr Dimitriadis and Dr Psychogios from Kogan Page Publishers, UK
Dr Nikos Dimitriadis, Development Director of the Executive Development Institute (EDI) of the International Faculty and Senior Lecturer at our Executive MBA programme and Dr Alexandros Psychogios, Senior Lecturer at our Executive MBA programme recently published their new book on a very innovative topic: “Neuroscience for Leaders: A Brain Adaptive Leadership Approach”. The book takes a practical approach and offers an easy-to-implement framework for making the behavioural changes to become a more effective leader. Drawing upon their own research and practical experience, using heavily scientific and business literature on the subject, and utilizing the very latest findings, Dr. Nikolaos Dimitriadis and Dr. Alexandros Psychogios present a flexible framework for fine-tuning the leadership brain. The authors stated: "Through our business and academic work during the last decade, we have understood very well that the missing piece in the leadership puzzle is the human brain. This is simply because everything starts there: thoughts, emotions, habits and relations. Leaders cannot fulfill their challenging role in the complex times we live in if they do not focus on their brain and on the brains of the people around them. The amazing fast is that we can change our brain and the brains of others to achieve fantastic results. But only if we actively follow specific insights from a variety of sciences: neuroscience, psychology, behavioral economics, evolutionary biology, anthropology and others. Our book is packed with latest insights from those sciences, organised in a comprehensive model and accompanied with many practical tips that can be immediately useful to leaders and managers all around the world. It can also be useful to parents, entrepreneurs, sports people, and professionals of all kinds. Such a complete, cutting-edge and immediately feasible book was missing from the global market. Not anymore! Make your brain your biggest ally by following our Brain Adaptive Leadership approach and win!" Both Dr Dimitriadis and Dr Psychogios have a significant number of publications in scientific journals and they constantly apply the ideas of the book in their training, consulting, coaching and business projects. The book is available for pre-order on Amazon.
