Students from the International Faculty work as interns in award-winning Start-up
Our postgraduate students namely, Giannaki Athina, Tomic Andja, Tomic Djurdja, work as interns in GrekAddict the start-up that won the “Get in the ring” competition in Athens. From left to right: Start-up founder, Ms Souzana Theodoridou, our students Tomic Andja and Tomic Djurdja and the start-up Marketing Manager Grekaddict is a promising start-up in the tourism sector based in Thessaloniki, with the main objective to provide quality services in the field of travel experience. Our students are working on a project on the digital and social media strategy and outlook of the startup since January. Ms Giannakaki has already been offered a permanent job at the start-up. Internships present our students with a great opportunity to work hands on in a professional environment. Our Career, Employability and Enterprise Centre works closely with the students and encourages them to take up internships while studying.

Finance Club organises successful seminar with Mr Kantartzis
On 19 March the Finance Club students successfully organised a seminar on the very interesting topic 'An Insight into Cryptocurrency Blockchain Technology and How to Trade Bitcoin'. Led by Mr. Kantartzis, Economist, Trader and Owner/Editor in Chief of TRADERS' magazine, the seminar proved to be very informative for both undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in Finance. The Finance Club announces its 1st Stock Trading Competition
Why should you participate? Putting it on your CV makes you stand out from the crowd. Get an insight of the Stock Market. Put into practice theories acquired throughout your studies Evaluate the information you find online (Bloomberg, Financial Times, Economist) Learn in a fun way Who can participate? All Bachelor and Master students from: Business Administration and Economics Department Department of Computer Science Department of Psychology How and Where does the competition take place? Every student will be given 1,000,000 virtual US Dollars, with which he/she will choose different stocks. The competition will take place online. The platform to be utilized is marketwatch.com in which all students can log in and execute their investments. When does the trading competition start and end? The Music Club of the International Faculty starts rehearsing
Our Music Club started rehearsing! Students of the Music Club met to rehearse at the Maverick Studio in Thessaloniki. The Music Club brings together students who genuinely enjoy music and aims at organising events and activities throughout the year. The Music Club meets for rehearsals once per week. Our Students’ Union (CSU) spread awareness on World AIDS Day
For another consecutive year our Students’ Union (CSU) successfully organised an activity aiming at raising awareness on AIDS and HIV on the World’s AIDS Day. The scope of the initiative was to support the cause, educate and disseminate updated information about HIV prevention, care and treatment. During the day, information stands were set up in the main campus of the International Faculty, CITY College in Thessaloniki. Our CSU put the message across that protection is the key in stopping the transmission of the disease. Students and staff who visited the stand, picked up their red ribbon to join the cause. HIV information flyers and condoms where also available at the stands. The initiative was warmly welcomed by the International Faculty’s community.
