Blood Donation Heroes at CITY College
Student and staff heroes and heroines full-heartedly volunteered and joined the Blood Donation for CITY College’s blood bank, that took place on Tuesday, 14 March at our main campus in Thessaloniki. The blood donation concluded with 33 bottles of blood added to our bank. The activity was organized by our Students’ Union (CSU). The blood donation was facilitated by the Ippokrateio Blood Donation Mobile Unit that visited our campus for this cause. Our next Blood Donation day will be in the coming Winter Semester. You all are welcome to join! CITY College warmly thanks and congratulates all staff and students that participated in the Blood Donation. Special thanks go to: - Mr Stelios Kehaghias, who initiated the blood donation activity and supported in its organisation and promotion. - All blood donors (staff and students) who volunteered. - Our CSU and all faculty members (Academic and Administration) who help and supported this action.

1st Pool Tournament by the Students’ Union (CSU)
The 1st Pool Tournament was successfully held The Students’ Union (CSU) of the International Faculty, CITY College, with 17 participating teams battling against each other. The Tournament took place at CITYBreak, the cafe at our main campus in Thessaloniki, with and many spectators enjoying the competition. Orphanage Charity by Marketing Club students
Students of the Marketing Club CMC of CITY College successfully organized a charity to collect funds and items in need for the orphanage "Agios Stylianos". "Agios Stylianos" is located in Thessaloniki and accommodates 30 children. Through the Christmas T-Shirt selling event and the XMAS charity party co-organised in collaboration with CSU, students of the Marketing Club managed to collect a considerable amount of money which was donated to an organised institution of our community. "We are very touched that we helped put smiles on the children's faces, as we were able to supply them with toys and goods that they are in need. We really hope that the future will hold many more actions like this,providing help to those in need. The Marketing Club, will continue with great joy to actively support organizations like this." said students of the Marketing Club. As civic engagement and volunteering is part of CITY College's mission and Identity, we encourage students to engage in such activities and are truly proud of their qualities and achievements.

A great #WeAreInternational VIDEO by our Students' Union (CSU)
The Students' Union (CSU) of the International Faculty, CITY College, joined the #WeAreInternational campaign of the University of Sheffield and created a great #WeAreInternational video, spreading the truly international dimension our Faculty. Our students put in their creativity, positive energy and came out to proudly say "We are International!" Enjoy their video! At CITY College, International Faculty of the University of Sheffield we embrace internationalisation - as our name suggests - and diversity within our culture and practice. An exciting Ski Trip to Bansko by the CSU
Right after the examination period, our students traditionally set off to a short ski holiday to Bansko, one of Bulgaria's most popular ski resorts, to relax, enjoy the mountains and the slopes. The trip was organised by the CSU and took place 10-12 February 2017. A group of more than 70 students participated in the trip and enjoyed skiing, snowboarding and so much more. All students had fun and enjoyed this unforgettable experience!

Football Tournament Finals organised by our Students’ Union (CSU) in Thessaloniki
Congratulations to the winning team, ‘REAL MADRID’, of the Fall’16 Football Tournament organised by our Students’ Union (CSU) in Thessaloniki. The final matches took place, 13 December 2016 at the YMCA courts. The final round of the football tournament concluded with three winning teams of the semi-finals, namely, Real Madrid, Presidents and Suicide Squad! Real Madrid is the Fall’16 champion, following by ‘Presidents’ who got the second place and the ‘Suicide Squad’ who earned the third place in the Tournament. The final game between Real Madrid and Presidents scored 2:1, respectively, while the Presidents Team scored 2:0 in their match with Suicide Squad. 1st place: Real Madrid 2nd place: Presidents 3rd place: Suicide Squad Students joined the cheerful atmosphere and watched the match with great enthusiasm. The members of the CSU board said "Congratulations to the winning teams of Fall '16 Football Tournament! Well done to the winning team, REAL MADRID and the other participating teams spreading the spirit of sport across the International Faculty! Congratulations on another milestone in sports.

Football Tournament by our Students’ Union (CSU) in Thessaloniki
Our Students’ Union (CSU) successfully organised a football tournament at the YMCA courts in Thessaloniki. Students watched the match with great enthusiasm cheering for their favourite team. Two appointed referees for the football tournament were Marko Jovanovski and Mpampis Trasanidis. In the first round of the football tournament, ten teams participated including Falcons,Los Magos, Presidents, Killers, Ap, Beroe, Suicide Squad, The Team, Baladofatses and Real Madrid. The results from the first football tournament matches are the following: Falcons - Los Magos 2:0 Presidents - Killers 7:1 Ap - Beroe 1:2 Suicide squad - The Team 1:0 Baladofatses - Real Madrid 1:2 Huge congratulations for the five winning teams but the game is not over yet! The next challenge for the winning teams will take place on Tuesday, 13th of December, at 21.30, at YMCA. “We invite you all to come cheer for your team and feel the electric atmosphere of the audience” –said Marko Jovanovski, the CITY Students Union- Sports and Activities Officer.
