An exciting day trip to Kerkini lake for our students!
On Wednesday 26th of October our students had the opportunity to visit one of the most unique places in Northern Greece. Kerkini is one of the oldest migratory stations for birds in the area. This is the ideal destination for nature lovers - enjoy this full day excursion to get close to rare species of birds and animals! The day trip included an hour-long lake cruise, bird watching, visit to the natural history museum and lunch at a traditional tavern which serves local delicacies. We are going to Kerkini Lake!
Wednesday 26th of October We are so excited to plan this trip! It's a last minute plan for the upcoming break and we know it's an amazing opportunity to organise one of the best excursions in Northern Greece. Kerkini is one of the oldest migratory stations for birds in the area. This is the ideal destination for nature lovers - enjoy this full day excursion to get close to rare species of birds and animals! Our day trip includes transportation by bus, boat tickets for our lake cruise, bus transport insurance, touring, birdwatching and reservation at the best restaurant of the area, Erodios at Lithotopos!!! Price: only 30 Eur / per person Reservations and Payments: at the CSU Office until Tuesday 25th of October & at the Student Services office (09:30 - 16:00 hrs) *The lunch is optional (not included in the price) and it's paid at the restaurant, meals a la carte cost from 10eur/per person Departure: Wednesday 26th of October from College (Dodekanisou entrance) at 09:00 Return: on the same day at the College around 19:00 The bus is hired only for CITY College students and staff and we expect to have lots of fun!

Graduation Party 2022 - An amazing celebration!
What an amazing celebration! On June 23rd our graduates of 2022, staff members and friends gathered together to celebrate this important milestone! The gathering was significant and unique since the celebration included both York University and University of Sheffield graduates, it was indeed a memorable event capturing the Alumni for Life concept and ideals. The party was organised by CITY College's Alumni Department and was held at Manoir Bar in Thessaloniki. Special thanks to CITY's Student Union for supporting the event! Also congratulations to our two alumni who won the two gift cards offered by CITY College's Alumni Department. The winning numbers were picked by our CSU President of 2021 Mr Rron Lecaj and Mr Georgina Georgievska, CSU President of 2022. Hiking trip & Yoga class at Mountain Paiko
On Sunday 22nd of May our students had the chance to go hiking and do yoga at Paiko Mountain, one of the most beautiful forests nearby Thessaloniki. It was an amazing hiking route at Mt Paiko into the verdant nature and along the river, a scenery of immense natural beauty! Starting from the lookout at an altitude of 1100 meters with a view of Stravopotamos canyon, our hikers took a path near Stravopotamos river and through the idyllic forest! There, in the vast meadow and near the crystal waters they had the most rejuvenating and toning yoga class! Of course the group did not miss the chance to have a picnic! Photo credits: Green Oliver

Blood Donation Day at CITY College Europe Campus
On Monday 16th of May, our Blood Donation Day took place at the premises of our campus at Leontos Sofou Building. Our students and staff once again took part in this precious event and selflessly made a blood donation. Our thanks go out to all our donors for making this choice and for taking the time to make a blood donation. With this treasurable resource, a member of our community is going to make it through what could be the toughest time of their lives. Thank you so much for a heart of compassion and human kindness! Also special thanks to the medical personnel of Ippokrateio Hospital for their professionalism and support. Please note that CITY's College Blood Bank is at the Ippokrateio Hospital and its Reg. Nr is 12901 and it's registered in the National Blood Registry.

Donate Blood for our Blood Bank Directions for Blood Donors: Giving blood is quick, easy, and risk-free for healthy adults (ages 18-65 aproximately) who are in good health, do not take chronic medication and do not suffer from serious ailments or anemia. It is advisable to avoid medication and alcohol and rest adequately in the last day before blood donation. Have a small meal and 2-3 glasses of water or juice before giving blood.
